For me: The Fokker DR I. Its the most rememberable, characterictical fighter of the germans in WWI, like the messerschmitt bf-109 in WWII....
The Dr.I is my favorite WW1 plane. But I like playing the D.VII even more. It is a nasty thing with all theese narrow turn...
My favorite WW1 plane ist the Fokker D. VII so far. I like it because of it´s fine maneuvers, its narrow turns and it was the first single mini I bought after buying the boxed set.

For me its the Albatros D.Va. . Its an elegant bird and just like the way she looks.

I like them all, but if I had to pick one it'd have to be the Albatros DIII. It's not as good a dogfighter as the Fokkers and slower than the DVa, but it works better for me for escort and balloon busting/ground attack missions.
The DR.1 is the WWI plane.

Ernst Udet Fokker D.VII was my favourite still I find the all-white Göering Fokker D.VII.
The Fokker Dr.I is really nice too.
I play love the Fokker D.VII especially against the faster SE 5a and SPAD XII, but for "looks" I'm a fan of the Eindecker (my own scratch builts) because the minis are coming out so slowly.
I always fly my purple Fokker DR I. It's my goodluck charm.
Growing up a fan of Charles Schultz' (of Minnesota) Snoopy, the WWI flying ace, I am a big fan of the Red Baron's Fokker DR1.
By the way, I have made one of the Snoopy card's from the web and instituted the unfortunate house rule that anytime Snoopy faces the Red Baron, Snoopy is shot down.

I really like the Albatross D.Va and the D.III, but I also enjou to fly with the Fokker Dr. I. Difficult decisions. x)
Fokker D.VII. Period.
I played my very first game with it. And won.
Mine is the DR.!. My main opponent flies in it, and it is the one that has brought me most of my victories, so I've got to like it. i hate the D7 for the opposite reason.

DVII is the best - Hermans was my first mini - but Dr1 is the most fun with those tight turns and crazy sideslips - if you win with that you've earnt it.

I played my first game with Ernst Udet Albatros D.Va. So it's my preferred model (I voted it) although I think the best fighter is Fokker DVII (great manoeuvrability in WoW with its maneuver Deck).

I can't say. I like all of them. Have all of them except Rahn's DrI and Jentsch's DVa.
Even though i think the DvII is a superior plane, i still have a soft spot for the dr1.

Hard. Really hard. The D.VII (as we all know) is the best fighter in the game. However the first WWI plane I ever saw was the Dr.I who knows when/where. Not to mention the fact that I have 7 kills in my only Dr.I, ol' Rahn the great, second only to my ever so awesome Sopwith Camel, Barker, with 8 kills, and that's only in my force! My dad owns a D.VII with a staggering 11 kills under his belt. In the end I had to choose the Dr.I. Case closed.

It's hard not to win in a D.VII. But the other three planes all take some finesse. Have to go with a plane that victories are actually earned in.
Mine's the DR1 just because its so iconic - you've just got to love the look of it
Have to go with the D.VII, I learned to play the game with it. But I love the styling of the D.III and D.Va as well.
Over all I prefer the D.VII. But like the Albatros D.III for earlier battles.
I wish this was broken down by year.
Don't forget the E.III's from Reverisco. Here's one of theirs that I built some years ago.

Always loved the lines of the Albatros wings ever since I built an Airfix kit of it many years ago.
I love the elegant lines of the Albatros. And the Dr I was a close second for me.
For me it's a tought call. The D.VII and Albatros D.III were my first two planes and I love them both. Although the D.VII is a killer fighter, there's something about the look of the D.III that I really like, not to mention I just love flying it. I'll pick the D.VII, but the D.III is a close second.

My favorite is the Pfalz. Elegant looking, great to fly, tough as nails. Of the ones you listed, I'd go with the Brumowski D.III.
I agree with what you said about the DVa, but went with the DVII because of the maneuvers and trickery of it. Although I;ve had good results with both. If I'm playing two Central Powers aircraft, one is a DVII and the Other is the DVa.
Favorite German fighter in the game
I have had good luck with both the D Va and Pfalz, both have served me well. Haven't been able to get my mitts on a D VII yet, historically the best fighter of the war.
I like the Albatros D.V the most of those four. It's beautiful and sharklike at the same time, as well as good enough all-round. Otherwise I like the Pfaltz even more because of It's looks. I have this issue with planes that are too good, too. The Fokker D.VII is boring because It's too all-round and good at It, and the Dr.I is boring because It's too specialized and predictable.Not that logical, is It?
I'd have to agree - and it's the german plane I play the most.
Of the ones listed, I also have a weak spot for the Albatrosses.
Not so fond of the Fokker D.VII - It's a bit box-like and and I've never really gotten a real good feel flying it, but that's just me (I get these hangups).
Albatros DVa, DIII, Fokker Dr1 . I play them the most and enjoy winning or loseing [ though not as much the loseing ]. DVII like is great in it's place 1918
I love the DR1, and fly it when I can. But I also enjoy the staying power of the DVII. Did we really need to choose???

The DRI...It's almost an icon... Perhaps not the best aircraft in the game but surely the one that speaks most to the imagination.
Albatros D.Va it's a buitiful plane that was in front longer than any other aircraft.
Everyone wants to fly VII, the D.II's and D.III's are the planes that caused the 'Fokker scourge' and was the culprit behind 'Bloody April".
DrI the most Iconic of WWI, and historical planes in general.

Just like the look of the Albatros D III. But have yet to fly a DR I, which I plan to correct. I mainly fly in early war scenarios.
Albatros D.III for me. It was the workhorse of the Austro-Hunagarian air force for a good part of the Great War.
It is not the fastest, most durable or most manouverable plane in the game, but I love it nonetheless. And it is the proper match for my second most favourite plane - Nieuport 17.
