Are there any other Versions of solo play?

Richard Bradley's rules are the grandfather of most of the solo charts in use on the forum and elsewhere. There are a few.

Thanks I downloaded it and used it several times but you can’t use the damage card on the solo plane.

That's where you have to be the I in AI Sam and adjust the draw you're given to reflect the special damage received, same as with any solo rules charts if you use special damage.
The App is based on Richard's rules so are the digital version of what you're using now; his rules did not include special damage.

I checked yesterday and didn't know that the SOLO game had a revision. I have the one with 12 sectors but see that it has been shortened. Now I have to print all the new decks.

There are a few systems and apps for WGS, and a paper/dice version for BSG on BoardGameGeek (and I'm attempting to build an Android app, but it is Not ready for prime-time).
