    Default Wooden Rulers

I was thinking ..... rare phenomenon, but it would be nice if we could have wooden range rulers for WGF like the ones sold here for Sails of Glory. Nice burnt looking wooden ones that would really reflect the spirit in which the game is played

Much better than those plastic and cardboard things imho. What do you folk think

We find them not so easy to use when trying to determine if an opponent is in the arc of fire. A straight sided ruler is clearer for that.

I have quite a few of the propeller rulers. They look great, but I find I do not use them.
I prefer the Nexus cardboard ones.
I use the Ares ones for short range (cut in half) and for AA or other ground fire.

I stopped making the wooden ones because they did not sell very well. I can make up a batch of them if you guys are really interested in them.

The solution to this is to simply turn my ruler up on its edge. That gives you a nice straight edge to use.

Baxter, I think it would be awesome! I see a lot of range rulers for other games. But cannot find a 3rd party one for Wings of Glory.

    We know!

But this thread is about WOODEN rulers, not plastic ones.

Personally I would love to have a wooden ruler for range determination; I can use my laser pointer for arc-of-fire determination.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!

They would be more environmentally friendly.

I can probably hook you up at Origins, Tim - I have a handful of 'em. A couple of us in our group have the laser 'liners' that really help a lot in making sure targets are in or out of firing arc - I recommend them highly

    All the best,
