Wow, incredible board to play on. Great looking games with a lot of variety.

Must have been a great shot of relief from the recent tension with all the fires.

That is a jaw dropping board... hedgerows, river, roads with vehicles, orchard... are there any non-creative, non-talented members here, or is it just me? By myself with my under-develop, unimaginative frontal lobe and my skill-less hands of stone...

But seriously, your games are awesome. Good to see the kids playing so they don’t have to “discover” real games with real people later in life.

    Not my work.

Someone needed some long OOP Nexus WWII aircraft to fill their collection. They were lamenting that the odds of ever acquiring them were remofe, and if they did become available, it would take many years and many dollars to get them. So even if possible, not feasible.

I had spares. I sent them, as their need was greater than mine. I didn't ask for payment.

Two years later, these 6 tiles were sent to me by them. It took that long for them to be made.

    Thanks for posting Zoe.
Gives a really good idea of the sort of games run at the show. Don't forget to forward to me any members who have earned medals.

Great stuff all 'round, Zoe! Trev's board is spectacular - you are one lucky Cancon GM! Was he working from a particular picture or overhead view or did you simply ask for northern Italy as your terrain model?

Good to see the crowd around the table and in the background. Looks like lots of varied action going on in the different games - never a dull moment

    All the best,
    Matt

That is one impressive board, and the games look great too. Glad the show could go ahead despite the recent difficulties.

Thanks for posting the photos, Zoe.

I'm pleased to see that there was a good turnout of players/punters for the show, despite the environmental difficulties.

The photos prove that once again Zoe has managed a very successful Cancon & attracted many new (& old) players to the game.
Fantastic range of Scenarios on super games mats.

    WELL DONE Zoe!

Here is my very abbreviated report on CanCon, my first.

    CanCon 2020

As we entered on the first day of CanCon, this is what met our eyes. The WoG participation table is on the left. This is only one of three halls that were filled with tables, people, games, and stalls for sales.

We played on the scenery made by Trev, except when we played BSG. The scenery drew quite a lot of attention and positive comment.

Corey and his Dad joined in a game which involved flying boats. Corey was a natural and picked up the game quickly. Dad was not confident in his abilities, so he flew in uncluttered space down the left hand end!
