I just got word from Ares that the BoB bombers and bomber pegs are due to ship from China this week. This puts them in the US about the first week or so of March.

Good to hear - thanks for the update.
Great news! New toys for the spring conventions!
Let's hope we get them for Prague then.

Oh its great to be an Aussie!
I received an Email this morning from Evan at Rival Sky Games advising my BoB Dornier has been posted.
Well I suppose we’re all in the same boat then.

LONG, gentlemen, "so long" - an expression with which you Colonial types should be very familiar!

That's great Tim.

Do you think that the corona virus outbreak will delay he dispatch of the bombers?
I was thinking the Corona virus should not be transmitted through models surely.
It might be carried on the surface of the models or the packaging. It depends upon how long it can survive outside a body.
I received word yesterday that the BoB bombers have landed in the US. I've sent in my pre-order list to Ares. Hopefully they arrive in time for me to get them shipped out before I go on vacation on the 20th of this month.
YAY!

YES!Finally!
The good news is that the virus dies much quicker on hard surfaces than on soft materials. Aircraft will be fine. Crews Flying Jackets will have to go. My bonus cards are that they don't like alcohol or fire Andy.

Looking at them now, Happy they are out. More then a little upset the tail crosses have been altered to make them politicaly correct. The Romans used that symbol and the Germans stole it when they were copying the Roman look in the late 30's. So now the world must pretend it does not exist because of a bad 15 years in history. But then they are starting to do the same thing with the Confederate battle flag here in the US. I figure 10 years down the line cons will be telling us we can not have that flag on our minis because it offends someone 3 states away.
Sigh...getting old and crankey I guess.
Ares Games will not risk anything on the EU market.
I understand you.
Good thing: In this scale you would not recognize it much on the table.
...and you can fix it with decals. (so I did for the repaints not all my German planes)
Voilà le soleil d'Austerlitz!
I just decalled most of mine. The last batch I have not yet done but with 9 weeks of isolation who knows what may get done?

As for the EU market, I fully understand, just getting a little crankey because I have not been off my property in over a week. Put a real dent in my commission work.
My Bombers arrived today. A quick inspection confirms all are complete and the only problem is that on at least two of the bases there are marks that will not polish off. It is similar to marks I have made by touching perspex with superglue fingers while still wet. Has anybody else had this?
Yes, some of my bases have "misty" patches on them.............
I'm trying to ignore them.

Wonder if Superglue uncure might help?...Would test on something else first though.
And Jager, gotta do something with your new found riches..
Might try the old floor wax trick or gloss clear window paint . . . . that's what the elves do . . .
My Dorniers arrived today ! Woo Hoo !! (the JU -88s arrived last week)....
Starting to think I should order a second of each if I still can... mine are chillin' in the Miniature Market warehouse waiting for shipping release.
I am thinking of grabbing another daytime Dornier too DB. That would give me the option of a total of 7 German day bombers over Britain at any one time which is all my table can really handle. All my other German and Italian bombers are painted up for Malta and the Western Desert.

Dorniers & Junkers are sold out at the moment at AA.
I'm interested in another two DO17-Z10...
Voilà le soleil d'Austerlitz!
yes, to my chagrin I noticed that Keith apparently has sold off all he had re Ju88's and Do17Z-2's
I really "need" 2 Do17 Z-2's (WGS 205A).
Anybody knows when they will be restocked ? If at all that is ...
cheers,
Guus

Guus, the warehouse is closed so until Indiana goes back to work the retailers' existing stock is all there's gonna be on the market.
MAYBE in a month or two, depending ho fast Indiana progresses through phases...
Thanks Diamondback for your quick answer ! I'll just sit back and wait, the darn virus must go away at some point in time and release all of us (and our toys)
cheers,
Guus

Yes, I figured that so many held off too late. One is best served by having a mminis savings account ready at first release, pre-orders will get them, wait a week and they are gone! That's how it goes now . . . remember the Dh-2's were so unwanted we had a painting contest? They were every where, those were the days you could walk into a game store and walk out with an armload of planes . . . Ah well, get them while you can, even the ones you don't want. All my sources are out of the new bombers a week after they arrived. One hopes there is a crate of them in transit somewhere.
I'm buying the new BoB bombers from Evan in Australia!
First ones were from Keith, but no one in the UK has them yet
