    Default Airplane Models

    Hallo everyone,
I am looking at getting my first model (Albatros C III or Fokker) and I do not know if there's a specific company that has really excellent models, anyone have any ideas from experience? I don't want to get a very flimsy model so was just wondering if anyone has any preferences

In the States you can't really do better than here for starters Gabriella.

When only the most delicate will do, you get paper models:

Ares Sopwith Camel on the left, paper Camel on the right. How I built it: Zio Prudenzio Model Cards - My 1st Project

But, really, the only company that is providing models for Wings of Glory is Ares.

After that, you have miniature makers and 3D printing companies that can produce the planes, but they cannot provide any of the equipment that you need to play with them in Wings of Glory. For that stuff, you have to scrounge maneuver decks, pegs, stands, and cards, or produce your own.

PS: Some of the best aftermarket flight stands available are found here: Aerodrome Accessories.com - Flight Stands

My fifth and first paper planes on Aerodrome Altitude stands, with home-printed labels for stats. The Aerodrome will now engrave the stats you want directly on the stands, so you don't have to produce something of your own.

Here are some Shapeways models. But some modelling expertise is needed, not to assemble them, but to paint and create decals for them.
