Thread: SSW Brown and flyover

    Default SSW Brown and flyover

Received this flyer and thought I would share it with everyone. Note the August date. It says a 2 hour WWII flyover of the ship. I have posted photos I have taken on this cruse up the Chesapeake Bay and it is something different to see the planes for the deck of a WWII Liberty ship.

    Thumbs up

    That looks great Bob!
Shame I live so far away.

I have done the cruise twice. Last time was the 75th anniversary of this ship being launched. It was launched at the Bet Steel Shipyard here in Baltimore. Both times it was a good trip.

That looks like a great time with the flyovers. Hmmmmm, "Oh wifey"?

Didn't realize you were in Baltimore, Bob.
I was there in the summer of 2018 (although it was an "all work, no play" trip)
If I end up there again I will PM you and maybe at least meet for a drink.

That looks a very interesting experience for anyone, who can take part.

Very tempting. Thanks for the heads-up!

I did make a mistake in the title. It should just be SS Brown. Not sure how I hit the W.
Pete that would be great. I live south of Baltimore but not that far so a get together would not be bad.
