Default Me 262s vs. P-47s: Battle above the coulds

On Dec 14th 6 pilots of my Flight (including myself) and 2 green members gathered in our village social club to play a late war scenario.
Must admit I had been inspired by this postcard...

...and by Steve AKA Guntruck's scenery he arranged at Doncaster 2019 for his epic battle over the Alps ("Last Hurrah of the Golden Pheasants") - and Steve's maneouver cards designed exclusively for Schwalbes.

Here is one of the many photos taken during the 2 hours' battle over the clouds where only several mountain peaks served as rough obstacles.

Due to slow uploading procedures thru Drome's app, below you may click the link below to acces my cloud with all other pics of the fight above the clouds between Schwalbes and P-47s:

All in all there were 4 Me 262 and 4 P-47 planes.
No altitude, respawning available for all after 1 full turn.

The final score: 9 kills for the German flight (Sławek scored 5, me 2), 8 for the USAAF. Tactical German win.
Thunderbolts appeared to be demanding and dangerous opponents for the jets.

Looked like an interesting game. I wouldn't mind seeing that deck for the Me.262s.

Great game scenario. Thunderbolts were very tough. I must get myself some of those 262's and a perhaps a Kikka or two.

Nice to see Thunderbolts and 262s in a battle! Like Karl, I'm interested in what deck you use for the 262. Do you allow it to Immelmann?

    Great scenario with nice pictures.

Those movement decks for the Schwalbes look awesome!

Those were Steve's decks. Pretty long ones including Immelmann. I must have them somewhere for up/download...

My math has the high speed straight for the Me.262 at 12.9cm . Add 6.7cm for the base, and your across the short way on our game matts (6'x 4') in 6 moves. 9 moves the long way.
Did your Me.262s have a problem staying on the board?

    Not at all, Karl.
We played on 2m/1,4m surface and there was a great deal of space to maneouver.

That looks like it was a lot of fun. Those Me262s look like they are the right scale. Great find as well.

Would love to see the deck for the ME262 too.
