    Default SOS Looking for Genius

I wonder if anyone 60 plus ever bought a F5 freedom Fighter in 1/72 or 1/48 scale (I can't remember the scale) with working parts, years ago my brother won a prize on holiday at a Bingo Hall, of a plastic F5 kit which had a few metal flat spring which meant with a flick of a finger the wingtip missiles would speed off for a distance of about two feet, by rotating a "[" shaped clip on the top of the wing the drop tank would fall off, the Pilot was spring loaded so by moving a bar which protruded from just under the pilot feet on the outside of the plane would eject, It also had under carriage which was fully retractable,

CAN ANYONE NAME THE MAKER OF THIS PLANE AND DO THEY HAVE ANY PICTURES OF IT??

I remember building an Airfix version back when series 1 kits were in plastic bags.

The decals are dead but apart from that the kit is in good shape, so now it's of to buy a tube of glue and some decals and "watch this space"
