    Ok...so after initial issue....upload of pics has worked. Unfortunately the close-ups really bring out the grainy texture of 3D printed models....any suggestions?

    If you use 3d printed models you really need a good sealant, there are a number of sealants others have used, plenty of threads on this forum.
    Personally I use a matt acrylic varnish and put around 4 or 5 coats before undercoating then painting.

    You can also use something like Klear floor polish - it's cheap & a bottle lasts for-ever ! I use it to seal a model, seal decals and then overpaint with a matt acrylic varnish.
