Essen Fair 2019
A friend of mine has visited the Essen Toy Fair and also looked for the Ares booth. I was surprised to hear, that there were many elsewhere unavailable WGF and SOG articles for sale. Both Gothas, all giant Bombers, Series 1 in both released paint jobs and many more. The fighters were 13€ each with a take 3, pay 2 discount. There were also boxes for SOG and WGF where you could make a „blind buy“(?) for 5€ each.

Good to see stock available to the general public, Florian! Do you know if there is gaming that goes on at Essen like at other conventions or is it mainly a toy show and exhibition? I wonder if Ares has anyone running games in a gaming hall...

Isn‘t that T&T in the background of the first photo? I ask my friend, if there were demos in Essen.
From the pictures I've seen on Facebook, and in the background of a couple of these pictures, it looks like Ares is doing demo games in their booth...I wonder if there are other games in a different 'gaming area' that people can sign up for and play in for a couple of hours?

There were separate boxes for WGF (filled with Ni28s) and SOG. It was hard to resist to get into SOG.

An employee of Ares told my friend, that they are setup a warehouse in Germany to improve the availability and reduce the shipping time. If other neighbour countries aren’t already having a national warehouse, I hope that will improve the situation, too.
