Something that may interest the Ladies and Gents here

The real implication for WOG players is if they continue to expand the range and in particularly introduce more bombers

The resin versions look good. I assume Dave of AIM has had a hand in some of these?

Not as far as I am aware, everything is in house at Warlord on these. The process is a 3d render to produce a 3d printed master, then that gets spun cast. I don't know, but I was always under the impression that AIM were traditionally mastered and then individually cast. I don't think Dave was involved at all (but I'm happy to stand corrected). The resin is very different to the one used by AIM.
The main issues with the Warlord metals in my opinion was that they suffered from some distortion during casting - the masters were often very good but the production models looked a little squashed. This was particularly evident on the Spitfire Mk IXs I saw - the AIM model is much better than the Warlord metal because of this IMHO. These (so far) seem to have avoided that.
They're looking at P47s, P40s, 109Gs and 262s next, then Ju88C6 iirc. It will be interesting to see how the resin handles the step up in size
Dave said he was busy doing masters for BRS earlier this year

A pity Ares isn't a big enough company to go this route.
