Any information on where the medals were? In what way were they "lost"? Clearly someone had hold of them...……………….
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Great that someone found them and they are in a place of honor for this man.
Apparently they were given to a relative in the UK and then were sent back to the family in Australia. They went missing and turned up somehow in New Zealand at which point they were sent to the Australian descendants.
It is good that they were found and returned to their rightful place.
