Eeek! I have been on a couple of 14-15 hour flights. They're torture. Unless they give you 1st class seating, 19+ hours won't be something you'll want to do again.
There is currently in flight a Qantas Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner flying nonstop from London to Sydney.

Test is right as the service is not able to operate within current aviation regulations. But hopefully someone will stump up the cash to develop scramjets and get HOTOL going (on the drawing board since I was a youngster) so we can do London to Sydney in 45 minutes
...and the competition is on.
I feel for thsoe passengers.
Might even tempt me to go and look up Baz and Zoe if we could do it in 45 minutes!Notwithstanding the cost of the fare.

Longest flight I've been been on was Vancouver to Manila and then the same leg back - about 13-14 hours if I remember. I can't sleep on aircraft. Ugghh....
The nonstop London to Sydney flight arrived safely and set a new longest record for a commercial flight, although it was just a test run.
