Ad you may know already, I live in SW part of Poland,which was a part of Germany before and during the WWII. Moreover, some 50 km east of my place are chemical factories that wete a target for American bombung actions in 1944.
On Dec 26th 1944 one of the B-24J Liberators was shot down. Pilot Lt. Arthur Lindell was killed in action, but he is still remembered among people living here and around Kędzierzyn-Koźle town (Cosel in WWII).
This weekend a modelmakers convention has neen organized nraring the name of the gallen airman.
