Default The Wright Flight is at it again!

This coming Saturday, the 12th of October, is the Second Saturday of the month, and that means the Wright Flight is taking to the air again for some Wings of War/Glory action (and maybe some T&T action, too!)...

Epic Loot in Centerville, Ohio, is the location...

The store opens at 11 AM - we will be waiting - and we hope to be airborne around 11:30...

I have heard rumors there might be Bristol F2Bs in the mix (Jim has been busily completing a six-pack, as is his wont)...

There are sure to be boom cards, planes on fire, and jams galore - come out and join in the mayhem, if you're able!

    All the best,
    Matt

WooHoo! Time for some action! Maybe with some Sopwith Camel escort against Rumplers with Fokker VII escort. Just a thought for fun. Gotha would be fun too! It will be good to game with everyone!

    Can you say Brisfit?

Wow! I googled Brisfit and it brought up several articles onthe Bristol F.2. LOL!!!!

The game stats a nice thought. A/B or A/A with 16 damage points isn't too bad at all.

We had a great turnout this last Saturday. Matt (matt56), Bill (Old guy), Sean, Dan (camelbeagle), Jim (rhodie80), and down from Michigan John (rolld6). The first round had three of Berthold's Boys in their trusty Fokker D.VIIs jumping three Bristol F.2Bs. The Brisfits held their own. The ones we were flying had A front guns and their B tail gunner. This balanced out the Fokker D.VII's superior maneuverability. It was a heck of a fight.

The second round had a Scarab and a Locust took on four late war planes. One of the planes had rockets. The Martians did extremely well taking down two planes and surviving the fray. The Martian commanders (Matt and John) did a great job not letting their energy getting too low. Well played.

Glad you were able to make it down, John - next time we shall have to spoil you even more! We're pleased that you had a good time - way to last during our 4-hour tour of the AF Museum. Sorry the gift shop was virtually bereft of anything WWI - it was a definitely disappointing revelation...we are a niche group, indeed!

    All the best,
    Matt
