Default Video of test flight for Hansa Brandenburg C1

Youtube video of a classic WW1 replica aircraft taking to the skies. It would be great to see an early war Austro-Hungarian-two seater in the Wings of Glory hangar.

    Thanks Carl.
Not something one sees every day. Couldn't help thinking how vulnerable it looked.

It is great to see a new replica plane flying, particularly an Austro-Hungarian one. I agree that it would be good to have one as a model in the game.

I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!

That's awesome. Thanks for posting. Now, do Shapeways sell a model of it I wonder? Yes of course they do, with or without rear gun ring, by WOW (Colinwe) price Ł11.05 inWNVP. Perhaps with the offers coming up, a non designer will get a discount. Have to give it a go

I've got five varieties of it available too, representing different manufacturers, series, and gun placements.

IMHO it is the most important Austro-Hungarian plane, with about a quarter of all A-H planes built being the C.I.

Cool video. But man that thing has NO forward vis. I can’t imagine trying to fight in it.

Neat video. You really know how lightly built these planes were. You can see the fuselage behind the engine flexing!

    Thanks for that, Carl.

Good to see you are still around.
