Super glue together and it is as good as new!
Oh! Sorry it was new. The Postal service can even thwart Ares' super redesigned packaging!

And here I thought I was going to see tiny fuzzy dice hanging from the rear-view mirror!

Nice walk-through of pinning and fixing those broken tripods folks have mentioned. Mine all arrived safe and sound, thank goodness...

    All the best,

Much more in line with "Battle Damage Recovery", than pimping a ride.

However, it is now a far more robust Tripod, and probably worth at least two more damage resistance, due to the structural improvement.

That is certainly a very good point Mike.
I will have to consider that.
the down side is that with its spine effectively rigid with a stainless steel rod up it it may find side slips rather more hard to complete.

No "go-faster-stripes" though; that would mean changing to a new, faster deck!

Now that is an idea Tim.
Do you favour red or white stripes as the faster?

    Red, of course!

'Red Shift' is a known astronomical phenomenon, whereas a White Shift is a woman's negligee!

I would trust Tim's science rather than an Orc's Mike!

Just reminded me about the joke where the student got fined for jumping a red light.
