Default Fall In 15-17 Nov 2019

This year Fall In will be in King of Prussia Pa. at the Valley Forge Casino Resort. See post #6 below for link and a full list of the Wings games that will be run.

Game submission ends tomorrow, 30th of August. I have submitted 5 games, 3 on Friday and 2 on Saturday seen below.

HMGS web site 'HERE'. I'll post a notice when FALL In registration is open.

My games...I've listed 10 players for all games except T&T(12) but will let in more if interested players ask to get in.

There will also be a Wings game Saturday 6pm run by a friend, Mike Jacobs. Yeah, I'll get to play in one!

Fri 3-5 End of the Fokker Scourge
Max Immelmann and Oswald Bolcke owned the sky early in the air war of WWI. New planes that could compete and beat the infamous Fokker E.III began to reach the front for the Entente in the spring of 1916. Can the new planes gain the upper hand over the old veterans?

Fri 6-8 USAS over the lines.
Heavily laden DH4s and Salmson 2a2s escorted with a flight of SPAD XIIIs crosses the lines just after dawn. The closest Jastas are alerted and send up their Fokkers and SSW DIIIs to stop the incursion. Which Eagle will you fly for?

    Fri 9-11 Gothas over Paris!
A large flight Gotha bombers is spotted heading towards Paris. The occasional incursions don’t cause much real damage but damage to the French morale was the goal. In early 1917 with the French army on the brink of mutiny, stopping these attacks was top priority.
Fearless French pilots in N17s and SPAD VIIs take to the sky to prevent the Hun from bombing the City of Light.

Sat 10-1 The Cylons among us
As usual, in the middle of a mineral retrieval operation, Cylons appear out of nowhere. Somehow they are getting information of operations. Is there a Cylon within the fleet?
One of the Viper pilots isn’t who they appear to be. Viper pilots must fight the Cylons and find out who among them is not one of their own.

Sat 3-5 Earth on the Brink
Martians have landed on earth again while it is in the midst of another horrific war in 1942. After the seriousness of the situation is realized the warring sides put aside their differences to face the alien invaders. Germans, Japanese, British and Americans join forces to fight the Martian metal 3 legged monsters.
The fate of the planet is in your hands. (or whatever a Martian has that is similar)

I also am curious about the WW2 version. I'll play it at home a few times to check it out before Fall In. I'll try to post an AAR when I do.

Saw last week that there were open rooms and let a friend know. He said when he called the rooms were gone by 1300. Didn't take long for them to go so looks like a large crowd for Fall In.

Half way home from Fall In but had to check in here. The 5 games I ran and the one Mike ran were well attended. My 5 averaged 10 players and Mikes Saturday night game had over a dozen!

As always it was a great time. Got to see quite a few Aerodrome members, many for the first time.

AARs with photos will come during the week after I get home.

Was a great time. All games were fun to play and as Pete said met many old friends and new members for here. Still learning BSG and the T&T game was fun. Thanks Peter

Big thanks to Pete and Mike for putting on fantastic events. It was great to see folks again and meet new ones around the table too. The laughter and the supportive nature in every game is what made them truly special. I'm already looking forward to next year!....what? too soon?

Forgot to thank Mike for his game. Large group, lots of planes, good people and a good time. What more could you ask for.

I echo the thanks. My dad had a fantastic time! The WoW games were by far his favorite of the weekend. Fairly certain he is coming again next year, and i know he will be up for more aerial shenanigans. It was good to see everyone again and get some flight time in. Peter and Mike did a great job! Could not ask for better games. I came home and ordered a Straaken and Handley so i can run a small version pf Mike's game. And several more fighters so I can do a larger scrum like the Fokker Scourge. My wife isnt happy after seeing the CC bill!

Special thanks for being your usual welcoming selves for my devious princess. She had a great time. She might not say much in front of y'all, but i can tell from her smile that she was thrilled to play, even if she drew a boom!

Sorry to take so long to get to this but AAR for 'The End of the Fokke Scourge' is up 'HERE'.

As all that attended know, the game title was very deceiving. The ace Hun flight easily fended off the more numerous Entente N11s and DH2s. Seems we needed heavier odds in the Entente favor. Maybe next time they'll swat the eindeckers like they deserved!

Game 2, USAS Over the Lines AAR is up 'HERE'.

A very close battle with USAS squeeking out the advantage.

Game 3, AAR for Gothas Over Paris can be found 'HERE'.

The air defense of Paris didn't have much success in protecting Paris on this day.

Game 4, AAR for T&T Earth on the Brink can be found 'HERE'.

The Earth's pilots handily halted the Martian invaders today. WW2 planes drain off energy much faster than WWI! Next time the ratio of planes to tripods will be lower.

Game 5, AAR for BSG The Cylons Among Us can be found 'HERE'.

I find BSG to be an awesome game. It has incredible options every turn for everyone without that much complexity.
