Ya gotta risk it for the biscuit!

Last night (Tuesday) saw 2 Gothas attempting a bombing raid opposed by 2 Snipes.

There were three targets from which the bombers had to destroy any 2 for victory.

Prior to takeoff the bomber crews decided to head for targets 1 and 2, flying in close formation so as to maximise defensive fire power.

What followed was a great night of action. Windy Jack (Doug) flying as Von Korff displayed amazing bombing skills, finishing off target 1 after it had been damaged by myself flying as Aschoff and then going on to totally demolish target 2 on his first run at it.

All the bombing runs were conducted against aggressive (and ultimately successful) attacks from Baker (Gary) and Barker (Mark).

The end result, as you can see below, was both targets AND both bombers destroyed after which everyone ate their biscuits and went home!

Hi Sven, they are home-made. I cut some acetate to the dimensions of a standard card and then marked them up with red, permanent fine marker pen.

The moral of that story is: no matter how good a bomber you are, don't try to outrun two Snipes!!!
