Hey Guys,
I've been a member for a while but always hung out in the background.
Lately my group has been playing more WoG and I've been painting up a few models so I thought I'd stop in and say hello.
Thanks,
Jim

Welcome from Portland, Jim. Nice to see you step out from behind the curtain.
I was like you for quite a while - just downloading files etc.
Then I started following the Over the Trenches threads ....
For a long time I only got a game or two in every 6 months or so and it was always with the standard aircraft. As I mentioned above my group has been playing more lately and I took the plunge into painting my own aircraft. I figured if I was going to get more games in, maybe I should try to be more active here. I need to get some decent pictures of the planes I have painted so far and post them.
Thank you guys for the warm welcome.
Welcome to the Aerodrome, Jim, from here 'across the Pond' in the United Kingdom.

Two weeks ago I made the trek from SW Ohio to Norman to drop my younger son off at OU - a bit too long of a drive for a casual game...
All the best,

Coming down is the hardest thing
I ordered WW2, I may get some WW1 stuff eventually but I prefer the WW2 planes/era.
I work M-F and I am usually off by 6 or 630. I can make weekends work as long as I clear it with the wife first. I'm sure I could swing a Friday evening here and there. I do take days off of work here and there so I can get some week day day time games in occasionally as well!
