    Found this nice photo of the Sopwith Triplane "Dixie" in flight so just had to share.

    G'day Peter. From info supplied in Ospreys Sopwith Triplane Aces Profile 21 is the Original "Dixie which had been flown by Aces P.A.Johnston in May '17 & A.R. Arnold in June.
    It was shot down in August '17 & its then pilot K.R. Monro being killed.
    Norman Franks notes that sometime in its service it became "Dixie II"
    No info on the Nationalities of the pilots which suggests they were not American as that would have been noteworthy. Perhaps a girlfriends name or nickname?
