Thread: Unknown Pilots - who are they?

Default Unknown Pilots - who are they?

Well, I might be a strange person but I like to call things or persons by their actual name. It's not the black jedi dude, it's Mace Windu or Samuel L. Jackson's character...

I want to create new cards for the game with additional informations (climb rate and max altitude), but the problem is, I have several planes that are flown by unknown pilots, for example the german planes in the Battle of Britain starter set or the grey Spad S.VII for WW1. I would like to create the cards with the name of the pilots, so could you help identify these pilots? I already tried it myself, but I don't think I found the right sources...

Or at least I would love to recieve tips where to find these kind of informations...

    Thanks in advance!

Additional: Now there are several more official miniature planes in the Wings of War/Glory series who are flown by unknown pilots. Is there a need for a list for all the unknown pilots? If so, this post can be edited into a list...

For the WW1 models check the Aerodrome Forum Felix - they have a section on aircraft numbers but it won't necessarily provide a name for a particular aircraft as is the case with this one.

Your best bet is to identify a known pilot of a squadron and change the number on the plane, or, just create a card for him.
