Bolt Action at Toy Wiz

About ten days ago I drove about an hour south of my place to a new gaming venue for me in Nanuet, New York called Toy Wiz. They have a very active Bolt Action club there. The members were unaware of Wings or Sails, and I am intent on proselytizing them! My day down there allowed me to play my Panzer for the first time (I built and painted it about a year ago, but haven't played in any games that allowed armor) so it had its maiden voyage. Here she is:



In this game my Germans were pitted against a Ghurka force. At the end of six turns the game was reasonably even, although if the game had gone beyond six turns the Ghurkas clearly would have won the day. I have enclosed a couple of photos below of the action.

Great looking Panzerkampfwagen, Bill.
The setup really brought back memories of my first forays into WWII wargaming with 1/72 Airfix tanks back in 1970-1972.
