It looks mighty fine - almost a better choice for a repaint than the initial release...I am sure that several will find their way into my hands...

These ships were decimated by the Cylons in the pilots of the 2003 mini-series. Turns out that new technology was easy to hack than the old Mark IIs, hence the rarity of the Mark VII in the series.
I flew against the prototype in Prague. Andrea gifted me the model and autographed card he made.
When I got home, I did up a 'production' version for playing (to keep the autographed version safe): OldGuy59's Battlestar Galactica Stuff - Pegasus Viper Card (actual production stats may vary)

After some very very anomalous medical test results, my medical team did query whether I was H.Sap. They decided very quickly that I was human, but given the anomalies, it was a reasonable question to ask. I certainly didn't feel offended.
It's estimated there are around a thousand people on the planet with my particular metabolic syndrome, probably less. So rare, estimate is all we can do.
The newest Viper has a third cannon above/behind the cockpit.
In Prague this one has a limited number of rounds for this cannon, 4 I think.
