I am sorry to have to report the passing of Dale Garrett

Seeing a post from a Facebook friend from Paducah, KY, reminded me of Dale, as that's where he lived.
I was going to send another card letting him know I was still thinking of him, and hoping all was going well.
Something made me Google his name and Padukah.

I was deeply saddened to find this:

    Obituary

I will miss the interactions with Dale in our Over the Trenches campaign.
I had so hoped he would pull through his bout with cancer.
He passed away just a few days after his most recent visit to the site.

Rob: can we get Dales' name into the Hall of Fallen Airmen?

Very sorry to hear of Dale's passing, he was a great wingman & campaigner for the Bulldogs in the late war OTT campaign. I'm so happy that he managed to join the OTT fraternity, to enjoy the games and comradeship before this illness overwhelmed him. I know it brought him great pleasure.
He has and will be greatly missed. RIP brother.

That is such sad news as I enjoyed interacting with him on our Solo Games.
From his comments on the Cancer it was obvious it was advanced & very serious.
So glad he joined us for those scenarios we shared.
