    Exclamation "The Bright Blue Sky"

I recently downloaded from Amazon Aust Kindle site the first book of a Trilogy written by Max Hennessy an alias for John Harris who wrote "The Sea Shall not have Them"which was made into a movie.
He was a prolific author across many genre & the title of the first book was The Bright Blue Sky.
I thoroughly enjoyed it & the second book as well & he certainly knew his Aviation. It is set in WW1 & follows the adventures of the main character through France, Italy & eventually into the Russian action after WW1. The second book takes you through little known RAF action in China, Irak & India during the 1920's & 30's. He meets Ernest Udet & other interesting people.
The third which I have not yet read takes him into WW2.
If you want a rollicking Aviation Novel you will enjoy these books. You can have fun relating his adventures to some real WW1 incidents.

    Thanks Dave!
Unfortunately the Kindle editions do not show the ISBN on the title pages.
