Thread: Jager's Origins games

  1. #1

    Default Jager's Origins games

    Flying Tigers over Burma:

Peter's Burma game: Japanese army vs. Flying Tigers.

Using Peter's excellent planes and stands, each Japanese controled a fighter (Nate) and a bomber (Sally). The bombers had a slower movement card, and a limited set on moves (straight, stall and side slip). Also, pilot wounds had you plot a 3 card sequence
making the advanced rule for this less cumbersome for convention play.

    Here's the Japanese setup

The bases are Litko for the fighters and home made for the bombers. The elevation stands are extending magnet tools. They can be found on ebay. Some I got from a local automotive parts store.

Planes in Burma are all AIM but one P-40. Guadalcanal, all Wildcats and some Zeros are official releases,(some repaints) bombers are AIM.

Lots of great shots here, Karl! Your coverage and details of the games is really nicely done - I, too, look forward to more as you have time to flesh out the other games.

    All the best,

A most enjoyable set of games to view Karl, I agree with Matt. Especially as I don't get to see much Pacific action unless Neil does a WW2 game.
Well worth a bit of Rep, really for all three games, I should give rep for each one.

I especially like the Guadalcanal mat. It looks 3D as if the land is placed on a plain mat.
