Default Official Curtiss H.12 / H.16 Painting Thread

Couldn't find an official thread for the Curtiss H.12/H.16, so here goes mine

Reduced Air Factory Curtiss H.12 produced by Sculpteo.

Serial 8666, crewed by Flt Lt Christopher J Galpin (navigator and in command), Flt Sub-Lt Robert Leckie (pilot), CPO VF Whatling (W/T Observer) and AM OR Laycock (engineer) - which shot down Zeppelin L22 on 14 May 1917.

Here is my US Curtiss H.16, which was operating from Lough Foyle naval air base, unfortunately missing plane model base

    Nice-looking beast, Georg, well done

I think that technically is a Shapeways decapod Felixstowe F.2A early version model, but probably the best one available to use for the Curtiss H.16 (very similar, some had waist guns some not). It looks ready to cause some trouble

I have two of the "Killingholme" F.2A bases remaining from my custom Litko order. I will PM you.

A bit "boaty" for my taste, but nicely finished!
