    Lightbulb D-Day: Colored Photos

Maybe you have already seen them, but I found a set of 52 colored photographs from D-Day on one Czech News site. Enjoy them

Excellent spot. A lot of the photos are familiar from black-and-white prints; colorizing them adds a lot of depth.

Any interested in translation, Pete? If I remeber well, there was anything special and I guess you probably know the things around. This was not the specialized website, but I found some interesting articles about Andrew Higgins, manufacturer of LCVP (interesting story, btw).

On the other hand, main topic of last weeks is Chernobyl on Czech websites, not D-Day

There were a few captions that didn't seem right, but it was good for the most part.

Maybe because Czech journalists were educated more about liberation of Kiev
