    Default Can anyone identify this airplane?

    This photograph appears in the book Hunters of the Steel Sharks. It was taken at a French seaplane base on the island of Corfu, Greece in mid to late 1918. I don't know enough about French seaplanes to make a good guess at what it is.

    Good luck! There are a dozen variants of this format aircraft, lots of mods and conversions on this small flying boat. I have 8 different variants in my collection . . .

    Taking a guess, it looks like a Tellier flying boat to me, probably a T.3. It's the slanted wing struts that give it away. The picture doesn't show enough of the engine to be much more precise.

    Thank you everyone. Looks like I'll have to get a Tellier T.3 from RAF on Shapeways at some point.
