Regrettably, Commander Thomas of the USS Hoel (DD-533), personally informed Commander Denton that Hoel's crew had observed the smoking FM-2 stall, knife-in the right wing, and although preparations were initiated to launch a rescue, after 10 minutes the pilot did not returned to the surface.

Taffy 3 is still vulnerable while in the process resupplying, and group is concerned the IJN Zero's were part of a larger Japanese initiative pending minutes.

Great AAR. I liked the aircraft damage management cards and the aircrew figures too. Are they in our files?

Nice AAR Chris. This make me really want to reboot my Pacific campaign....sadly not in the near future.

I don't have the aircrews in the file section yet, but will get them uploaded, everything else should be in WWII File section.

Thank you guys for looking at the AAR I was up late last night LOL...

A very enjoyable story line Chris. You have added yet another dimension to our AARs with the control instrumentation.
Good show all round old boy. sorry your buddy went in, but you never know. The Hoal may have picked him up.

Thank you Rob and everyone for reading the After Action Report,

I waited a couple of days to find out the status of Lt. Hank Renault (Game Mechanics) because I was really hoping Lt Hank Renault would live to appear in future AARs;but, Scenario mechanics ruled out.

I really appreciate having the Aerodrome to share in this game/hobby with...

WGS Flies - WWII Altimeter and Fuel Gauge

    Or, even better ones:
WGS Flies - Modified Climb Rate, Altitude, and Fuel Gauge

Note: The Modified gauges are not in the Game Aides section, so I missed them the first time through.

    Good catch sir,

When I first started uploading, I was not aware of the subcategories so I just littered the WWII files section. I wonder if there is a way to re-catagorize the files now without having to re-upload them.

I modified someone else's gauge file; but I really have to hand it to the original designer of those gauges because they look great.

All I did was add sub-windows so that I could use my fuel burn rates and actual altitudes (for use when arguing collisions).

Oh, and if you are looking for a way to determine a pilot's wound status, I use these from my old G.I. Joe game days (my brothers and I came up with them):

In the case of Lt. Hank Renault, I rolled the 2 die to determine how he fared. His severity roll was a 5 (the proximity die was not rolled) indicating that he had suffered lethal trauma to his heart/chest.

I was reluctant to share these rules because they tend to introduce a graphic element to the game, and may border on being appropriate or not.

All in the name of driving the story.

    Thank you Mike,
    Chris
