Thread: Italian Pomilio PD and PE

  1. #1

Default Italian Pomilio PD and PE

    Shapeways RAF:

Pomilio PD (CDL - serial number P. 3824, shown on page 4 of Windsock Datafile 117). I will use the Bourlot, Luigi / Magistrelli, Aldo (131a Squadriglia Regio Esercito) card for it.

Pomilio PD (Camo - shown on page 26 of Windsock Datafile with Ten Eduardo Barbiroglio sitting in the cockpit, but he might not have been the pilot) - 112a Squadriglia Regio Esercito

Homemade decals except for the rondels on the side of the CDL Pomilio. I had missed that those and used Riversco ones.

I’m still waiting for an OTT scenario in which I can use them.

Just got custom bases for them this week

Have a look at some of the OTT scenarios which I flew last year Paul.
    Here is one of them.

    Thanks, guys.

Rob, I meant in the current OTT campaign since I got these completed. I was planning that the debut of these planes would be in the current OTT. I did use my latest Nieuport 17s in mission 8 as they seemed like a good WWI version of a tie fighter.

    Sorry for any misunderstanding Paul.
I was simply showing you how you could use the current OTT scenarios to run your aircraft by putting a bit of a twist on them to fit what was happening on the Italian front Paul. No one will mind as long as the outline of the senario is adhered to. It won't matter which front you choose to play it on.

No problem. I have been running through the 1st OTT campaign but got stalled (no time plus the recent missions for the current OTT have taken a fair bit of effort - long game, lots of planes, etc.) on the one where there's a pick up of spy. I fudged it a bit for the current mission 8 by using Hannovers and Ufags (early Dec 1917 - Hannovers treated as CL II and the Ufags as experimental prototypes).
