Is there a display at Devizes in July?
I've been AWOL too long, if there is a game I can join in for one of the days.

Burt, I would say yes as they have been there for at least the last 3 years in the Canteen/cafe area. I will be there with a group of friends with a large 20mm WW2 Stalingrad game in the same area hopefully. Maybe see you there.
Stalingrad! I would like to see that if I get a chance.
Seems to be on Don, Neil is OIC for this one I believe.

Yes we have a table booked for Devizes
That's excellent news Chris. Was about to PM you to ask if you’d been contacted.
Do you still want me to lead on this?
- Neil.
Don, by all means pop by - it would be great to say hello.
I'll be there I think. Its not long after Yon's hip op but she has said I should go anyway as she'll be fine by then Maybe guys, maybe. Ditto Bovington.
Unfortunately I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make Warfare this year, so may not be the best person to lead on this. Happy to help co-ordinate but someone else may need to take point.
I’ll start a fresh thread to get the ball rolling.
- Neil.
I'm planning to go to Attack - is any hep needed?
Rob
I'll be there for at least one of the two days - will confirm a it later on.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
I think it is a case of rock up and you'll be useful
Assuming they reuse one of the colours of wristbands from the last couple of years, I have spares so we may be covered on that from too.
We should be well sorted for supplies as Tim will bring his usual small selection and I’ll back my stuff as backup (and hopefully have Tripods to use at some point). Happy to supply table cloth and mat as I’ll be there both days so they can be left out.
- Neil.
I will be there on one of the days, I don't mind which so If you are a bit light on bodies for one of the days let me know.
Okay, in Chris' absence, let’s have a bit of a roll call:
(I don’t think the forums supports tables, so this could get a bit messy)
Please respond with your preferred day or days and I’ll update accordingly. Even if you are flexible, please state a preference, then we can see if we are going to be short either day. Similarly if you can no longer make it, shout and I’ll take you off the list.

I will be there both days
Yet to decide but probably Saturday.
Sapiens qui vigilat... "He is wise who watches"
Put me down for Sunday but will be happy to swop to Saturday if needs be.
Table updated! So far we have an even spread which is great. For the moment, no-one needs to be asked to change days.
- Neil.
I would prefer Saturday, but could be persuaded to change if necessary.

Tim
Saturday is fine. It is usually the more popular day, so having your collection there works. Chances are Sunday will be quite (based on the last couple of years), so if it ends up being myself, Chris and Don it shouldn't be an issue.
- Neil.
Good luck guys, hope you have plenty of happy punters

Just a quick update:
Got word at the weekend that the school have requested everyone is off site earlier this year, though I can’t currently find confirmation on the website. So it may be possible that we are finishing at 4.30pm on Saturday and 4.00pm on Sunday. Doesn’t make a big difference to us, but might affect anyone who was making plans for the evening.
If I can get confirmation I’ll pass it on.
- Neil.
Still not certain I can make this event, but I'm hoping I can be there for at least one of the days. Shall confirm later in the week.
No worries Mike, fully understand.
Looks like we will have four for Saturday and three for Sunday at least, which should suffice given average attendance numbers.
- Neil.
Sorry guys - I shall confirm now that I cannot make it this weekend. Have fun - hope it goes well
Never mind Mike, maybe next time - send our best to Yon.

I'll be there Saturday
Mike - No worries, fully understand. Thanks for letting us know.
David - see you Saturday!
- Neil.
Won't make it tomorrow - had a family thing come up that requires the old man on site - might get there Sunday if I can slip past security !

Dave
No worries, family come first. We have more than enough bodies for tomorrow.
Will be good to see you if you can slip away on Sunday.
- Neil.
Dave - thats a shame, I was looking forward to catching up.
Neil - do I need to bring anything?
David
From a Wings perspective, probably not, as I’m hoping Tim, Chris and myself will have everything covered. Though if you anything specific you’d like to get an outing, do bring it along.
However, I would love to get a closer look at the alternative ships you’ve been knocking up for BSG (just seen your Buck Roger's post), so if you’d like to bring some of those along, that would be awesome.
- Neil.
Simon (Maverick) will also be there Saturday only
I'll be there Sunday . Saturday is out (wife's birthday)
No worries Rob, celebrating Mrs Rob’s birthday definitely takes priority
See you on Sunday.
- Neil.
(live from our table at Attack! )
Have a good day, see you tomorrow.
I might be a little bit late as I have to drop of the memsaab, Hopefully I should be there before 10:00.

Day one went well, we were actually quite busy, though with random planes entering the fight games ran a little longer than usual.
Photos to follow. As I expect will details of some of the exploits, if only from those wishing to relive others misfortune
- Neil.
I actually shot something down, so I was very pleased We had quite a few youngsters playing, they picked the game up quickly and I hope had a good time.
Interesting discussions about "house rules".
And we've never had so many players called "Tim" before. In fact, every one in the first game I think
Lots of opportunities to chat to old friends as well
Thanks to all the chaps at Devizes today - a great day of (short lived in my case) aerial combat and banter - managed to shoot Chris down for once but I think he was one up on the day thanks to a boom card in the last game, someone has pictures but not me this time !
Good to see Don and Nigel again, been far too long chaps, big thankyou to Rob for the lift & Neil for being the instructor.

Glad it all went well guys - sounds like the usual fun event. Looking forward to seeing some pics
A big Thank You to Chris, Tim, David, Simon, Dave, Rob and Don for all their help in making the weekend a success.
Today was quieter than yesterday but we still managed to engage a handful of participants and have an enjoyable day.
Photos to follow tomorrow.
- Neil.
A great day. There were some cracking battles on the table. Thanks all.
Rob
Thanks to everyone for a good day, had a lot of fun.
Photos from the weekend are now up on Flickr - https://flic.kr/s/aHsmFmScD6
Yet again we encountered one of life's great mysteries; how, when having a 6ft by 4ft table to play on, everyone ends up in the same 8 inch by 8 inch square? :
- Neil.
That was a freindly round, not a shot was fired.
Did get one pic !
Rob, Chris & Neil entertain some youngsters & a Dad - young man on the right dropped a boom card on me with his first shots
