Just discovered this book in the Comox Air Force Museum Library. It has a 1980 print date, published by Monogram Aviation Publications. ISBN: 0-914144-29-4.

It is a binder, with divided sections for periods and services, so removing them for scanning will be a breeze.

This has colour paint chips for the different schemes, and 'official' plans showing the different patterns used throughout the Second World War.

Not that I need it for cards, but for the painters on our Forum, it even gives suggestions for colour correction for scale models:

I will be borrowing this to check the RGB matches I've done with Photoshop, and building a new colour swatch library of RLM colours, for future card production.

Anybody else seen anything like this?

Just thought Wow that looks good so had a quick look on ebay and found one in the UK for £65.00 and one in the USA for £3.44 International post free! So I bought the second one. Well who wouldn't?

Nice find! I have always wondered whether the scale-lightening effect really made a big difference, but I know it was all the rage for a while in modeling.

Well, this is cool. Some model companies produce paints with scale effects already in their paints:

The above link gives some paint companies and tries to calculate some of their scale effect in their paints.
