Possibly this aircraft wasn't flown by Kiss. There are photos of Kiss along with other Flik 55J pilots in front of this aircraft. Kiss is known to have flown an aircraft similar to Kenzian's but with a '7' and a white band around the fuselage just in front of the fins. He was shot down in a Phoenix aircraft with a white band. Other pilots in Flik 55J with names starting with 'K' are Josef Kos and Oto Kullas but I don't see either of those pilots named in the photos with this plane. So...go figure.

The other two aces of Flik 55J are Alexander Kasza and Franz Lahner. I could not find any picture of an Oeffag for Kasza. Lahner's Oeffag was similar to Kenzian's but only with an 'L'.

Superb paint jobs again Paul, this quartet will prove a handful for their opponents

They will appear - the planes flown by the baby Flik and not flown by these aces - in the latest OTT scenario Italian Front version once I get the NML mat (from the Hunter project).

    Thanks, mike.

I’ll be playing the current OTT scenario with these 4 using the unofficial oeffag stats versus 4 Spad XIII.

Great job, Paul. I like the mottling and weathering you did.
