If the number of cuss words are an indication of getting the hang of Valom kits, then these are my best job so far. Only one photo-etch piece pinged into who knows where - one of the tail skids, but since they were hard to distinguish from the pe joy sticks I used one of those. I thought the struts would be a nightmare but they went very smoothly.

I must acknowledge mikeemagnus who made this comment on the Official Fokker E.III thread...."Now try the Sopwith Pup Paul and if you succeed with that I reckon you will have cracked it with Valom kits." I don't know about having "cracked it with Valom kits", but I have grown somewhat fond of them....or at least I don't tremble when I open a kit.

These are proving fun to do - creating an imaginary Jasta and still keeping it somewhat 'potentially historical' has been enjoyable. More pics as I get 'em finished...

It’s a set called Spain in Flames for the Spanish Civil War. It’s an add-on to Flames of War, similar to the Battlefront books for particular theatres, with a brief outline of the forces available and a points and equipment breakdown.

Probably no use for the American market Karl - too many long words

Nice work by all. Love the Russian tanks. If your like me you need to add some Valentines, Churchills and Grants just to make things strange.

Dave not sure of a collector site but I am sure there would be an interest in them. If you sold them for $40 or $50 you would make some money to buy other planes.

In the beginning of the month I did some Ann's and Oscars for the Thai AF. I finished the other ones I did for the RTAF. Here are the Nate's I did.

One of the first models I ever remember building was a battle-damaged Thud. Very cool jet.

PS: The paint scheme above is from an F-105G (Two-seater), but it was the nicest.

A card has been done for this plane by a member no longer current on the Forum, but his album is still here:
    Mumo's My Cards Album

The F-105G is in the WWII Custom Cards Custom Planes Files: F105G Thunderchief

Mike I remember that model. It came with different sections to have it damaged or not damaged. Can't remember what company made it. I don't know why I got into the jets. I have to get some Mig 19 to go along with my 15's, 17's and 21's.

Steve I have read that the Russians had problems with the Valentines tracks being so brittle in the cold Russian winter that they would shatter.

Blood Red Skies minis, Bob. Squadrons of 6/7 planes of: Spits Mk II, Hurries, Bf 109, 110, Fw 190A,Yaks-1, Mustangs.

I am plannig to paint them roughly with airbrush, decal (decals included in boxes) and put into play. Basic rules seem to be pretty straightforward...

Have not seen them like that so wasn't sure. I went to a small con in Maine a few weeks ago and there was a guy playing BRS. Did 2 wings games and played a new game. Aerodrome 1.0 was new and not bad. Also the wife wanted Maine lobster so we had a great lobster dinner with a friend. Happened to be his wife's BD.

    Last gasp of the month:
    (sorry no pictures)
Garden wall almost done; 4 and 1/2 blocks left to lay (and rain on all my days off ) then fill and top.
Also assembling 2 boxes of Warhammer Empire troops; I hoped to have them done for next weekend, but my skill with little men is not as great as with vehicles.
