Thread: Spinning!

    Default Spinning!

    Had a day without my landing gear working properly, so that meant a day at the work bench! Found these Angels 20 Axis & Allies 1/100" scale planes among Hunter's things, set them aside for just such a time. Thinking aerial B o B mobile for a grandson or two or three.

    Need a plan, some carbon fiber rods, thread and a bit of patience.

    I found a blob of sticky tack and a needle with thread helped find the desired balance points on the planes

    Drill the holes, insert the wire, bend the wire, tie on the thread x each plane.

    Hang each plane near the end of each rod, work in pairs, a bit of masking tape helps keep things in place, from then on its a question of balance . . .

    A drop of glue on each knot keeps you sane as well . . . Now one from B-17s for papa clipper!
