Thread: Easter reading of the Martian Wars

  1. #1

Default Easter reading of the Martian Wars

For, as we might expect, the second invasion is imminent, I decided to soak some theory of the Martian Wars. The obvious choice was to refresh the original reading of HGW (this time in the original version) and now the time has come to read the book upon the second invasion, by S.Baxter "The Massacre of Mankind". What an excellent read it is! The loosely mentioned in the first book characters shine in the latter! Higly recommended!

I think I posted a picture on an earlier T & T thread when the Kickstarter was fresh - I read it about a year ago, I think. I really enjoyed it, too A very interesting 'official sequel' to the original novel.

    Hope you all enjoy it!

    All the best,
    Matt

I hope you all enjoy the read - like I said, I enjoyed it And it provides some info that might be helpful for scenarios once we get the T & T Martians (or for whatever Martians you use in the meantime...) Dave, with today being Easter, it might be time for some Peeps invasion...

    All the best,
    Matt

The best sequel I have ever read/watched. Baxter made the story MUCH better for a contemporary reader. Believe me.
