    Default Maria - My Wife

Hello everyone!!! I'm sorry to say that I have been absent from the Aerodrome for a while. Some of you may have known that Maria, my wife was diagnosed with Cancer. I'm sad to say that she lost her battle on March 2, 2019, and passed away peacefully at home with our family with her. I have posted a few pictures on my profile as a small tribute!!!

So saddened to hear this news, Tim! I seem to remember you mentioning something about her illness a while back. Your album of pictures is a wonderful tribute to her

My thoughts and good wishes are headed your way. I am sure you have folks around to help out, but if there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to ask.

    Always the best,
    Matt

Timothy you have our deepest condolences. I was a scout as a youth and latter as an adult leader. By her awards you can tell she was very involved in scouting. She must a been a very special person. I can't imagine your loss.

Here's to them what are like us. Damn few and they're all dead.

So very sorry to hear of your wife's passing Timothy.
I lost my Judy over 10 years ago so I can imagine your feelings.
Just hold on to all the wonderful memories as that does help.
I see in one photo she was shooting a black powder rifle & that was something I enjoyed over here.

Thank you for sharing pictures of your partner with us. I am poorer for not having known her, I'm sure.

Cancer has taken many of our relations from us. All the positive vibes I can muster are being sent your way, Tim.

I saw happiness in her eyes on the photos, especially on that taken on your wedding ceremony. Lovely.

Very sorry for your loss of your good lady Tim.
I can only imagine the heartache that the loss of one so near and dear causes. Nothing I can say will help that, but my prayers will include you, and I am sure that goes for the rest of the UK Wing.

Thank you, everyone!!! We are a Scouting family, both my boys are Eagle Scouts, and Maria and I have been Leaders for over 15 years!!! She requested to be buried in uniform!! She touched many, many lives over the years, and she was honored with over 80 scouts and scouters lined up standing at attention as she was brought in and out of the church!!! My family is blessed with many friends, including my friends here on the Aerodrome!!! It is the compassion here that you all have for others that sets this site apart!!! I thank all of you again, and forgive those of you that will shoot me down in the future, I will still love you!!!
