Tigers Over Burma
Each player piloted 2 planes. The AVG players each flew 2 P-40Bs, the Japanese had a Ki-27 Nate to escort a Ki-21 Sally.
Japanese objective was to get their bombers across the table. All planes shot down were replaced. If shot down a Nate would be replaced with an Oscar.
BobP getting plastered on the first shots. 2 ‘B’ damage chits, 5 and 8 against his 13 hit pint Nate.
A Nate vainly trying to catch a Tiger by the tail.
A pair of Tigers flying over the remains of their victim.
A Sally following behind it’s escort.
A pair of P-40s pay a heavy price for flaming a Sally.
A Nate escort doing it’s job, protecting it’s Sally, down's a Tiger.
One Sally gets past the defenders harassed by a Nate and flies on to bomb the AVG air base.
This Sally and Nate are thinking they will reach the target…
A P-40 says, “I don’t think so”.
One engine smoking with the other on fire.
The P-40 has the final words in this conversation.
Two Tigers looking lost after downing a bomber. Time to turn back and find another target.
One bomber made it through doing minor damage to the AVG air field.
