Once again it is time for BattleGroup Boston's yearly event, Havoc. Show web site event list 'HERE'.
I'll be running at least 4 Wings of Glory games, 3 on Saturday and 1 or 2 on Sunday as Sunday is a 6 hour period.
Below are the event listings for my games.
Saturday 9am – 1pm
201 Aerodrome Raid!
players 10 Wings of Glory WWI 1/144 WWI Peter Landry
Description: The USAS finally could take no more of the harassing raids on their airfields by the nasty Hun. An early morning raid on a Hun Jasta field was planned to hit it while the morning patrols were away. Jasta 2, out on the way to it's own patrol spot the intruders. Revenge will be sweet, but who will get to claim it?
Saturday 2pm – 6pm
310 Two Seater Trouble
players 10 Wings of Glory WWI 1/144 WWI Peter Landry
Description: An Entente patrol of scouts runs into an enemy patrol, thinking it was bouncing a flight of scouts. Should be, no trouble right? What, there is a rear gunner?!?!
Take a nimble scout and fly circles around the cumbersome tandems, or have a sting in your tail and teach those uppity scout jocks a lesson.
Saturday 7:30 pm – 11:30 pm
409 Godzilla
players 12 Wings of Glory WW2 1/200 WW2 Peter Landry
Description: There was a disturbance many miles off the coast reported by local fishermen. Incoherent messages could not be understood, then silence.
"Flight One to base, flight One to base, we're approaching the coast now. Ok, we see something coming out of the water. It's....gigantic. it's... it's...Tokoyo, we have a problem"!
Sunday 10am – 4 pm
503 Clash over Tunisia
players 12 Wings of Glory WW2 1/200 WW2 Peter Landry
Description: After Operation torch, the USAF and RAF covered the advance into Tunisia. An aggressive strategy turned the Luftwaffe on their heels and forced them to defensive operations.
Today you fly a mixed force of USAF fighters escorting a B-25 bombing raid on the port of Bizerte, or man the Luftwaffe with it's Italian ally who throw up every functioning plane to stop the raid.
Bill (NewFlyBoy) will be running a Sails game Friday evening.
102 The Enemy Are Out!
players 8 Sails of Glory 1:1000 Napoleonic Naval William Brown
Description: The French Napoleonic fleet has been blockaded in port by the Royal Navy. A severe storm has dispersed the Royal Navy forces and a French commodore seizes the opportunity to make a run for the open sea. If the French squadron can make it to the open sea they will wreak havoc on the British shipping lanes. One British squadron stands in the way of the French plan. To win the game the British must take or sink at least two more ships than they lose. The French must exit as many ships as they can from upper left corner of the table in order to create havoc amongst the British convoys of merchant men using the trade routes.
