Shot down markers Tutorial

Today I show you how make your own shot down markers at home,...they will be reallistic and very easy to make.
What stuff do U need:
- Hot melt Glue.
- White pipe cleaners
- Crocodille terminals.
- Lolipop Tube.
- Woodland Scennics Autum Clump folliage.
- Airbrush.
- Black, Grey & White...Acrilic Thinner.



The idea is to have Crocodile terminal with the lolipop tube booth glued with the hot melt,...then proctect with Termoretractile cover. Those terminal allows to fix over the flight stand easily.


The second part of the worklog it´s the Pipe cleaner, see the detail I burned one section of the cleaner, the idea is to have a conical profile.

The small section not burned, fits well into the lolipop tube, and makes the marker removable.

Then whith the hotmelt we pasted around four colors clump folliage, be care with the glue it burns,...and remove the strands of glue...will appear!!!


Make it with enthropy...


Finnally when you´ll finished, let till the glue become cold.

You can fix whole clump whith watered down white glue,...becomes more strong and resistant.

Once dries the "Ball of fire", we paint using airbrush on the top the idea it´s to make a cenital highligting, to simulate smoke, oil and hash.




First black...then English Grey and finally White. I used acrilyc stuff from Vallejo and Acrilyc thinner too!!!
What do U think about...it´s reallistic isn´t.

Yes, I know...those plane its 1/86 scale...then if you have smallest....you will to have the marker small too,...
