Massive number of planes flew in by post today and 2 days ago - doubled my collection which is now at 80.

I remember those days. Five years ago for me.

Just one more... (repeat every day)

The file is now available for those interested. It’s an older one as I have updated it since then - correcting a couple of mistakes and providing sorting drop down options in the top row. However, we’re close to the next release of planes so I will wait to get those before uploading a revised spreadsheet.

Note that the info is done so that it could be put into a database. That is that each item, such as a pilot’s name is the same for all entries. It may vary from the Nexus/Ares info on each release as things like names slightly vary with multiple releases. I haven’t yet decided what to do about MvR’s unit info for the Fokker Dr.I. To be consistent with other Nexus/Ares items it should be JG 1 as he was CO of JG 1 even though JG 1 includes Jasta 11 and MvR was previously CO Jasta 11 (note that Goring is listed as JG 1). Correct military usage would have MvR as JG 1 not Jasta 11 for Dr.I models. But people can change the spreadsheet entry to which ever they like.

Still useful as is; especially so the database crossover.

A good joke, Steve. I lost count of my models a long time ago.

I'd have to hire in a LOT more fingers & toes in order to tackle mine!

If you used your fingers and toes for binary representation, you could count up to 2^10 (assuming you have the normal number of fingers and toes) = 1024. Almost, but I fear not quite enough. You've been at this longer than me and I already have nearly 200 and I have hardly started with painting-by-jastas (just got the books on Jastas 23 and 30).

You'd also need a degree of flexibility and the ability to hold poses with your fingers and toes to indicate '0's and '1's. One false twitch and there'd go 256 planes.

This makes number 4 a very impolite number. Doubly so for 132!

I'm currently at 278 with another squadron of 14 inbound. And I have another 11 prepared for transfer to other units outside my command. That will leave me with 281 by weeks end.
