Thanks for posting the links. Love those old battleships. They projected power and prestige before the shooting war began.
Saw that yesterday and sent it to a friend. He sent back that they are looking for the Hornet. At least someone is keeping history alive and remembering those that did the fighting.
I have Robert Ballard's book about the naval wrecks in "Ironbottom Sound" - fascinating stuff.
Imagine that - so many ships sunk in one small area, that they renamed the region to commemorate their loss.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
