With the mention of propellers, here's what the elves do. Take a length of 1/16" diameter styrene rod - as long as you want the prop to be. Slip the rod just under half way into the jaws of a small pair of plilars where there are no teeth. Clamp down on the rod, crushing it to just under 1/32" thick. Remove the rod and insert the un-crushed end into the pliars at 90 degrees from the crushed end, crush this end like the other end. Round the tips or taper the blades to suit with a nail file. unch a center hole and drill the hub for a prop shaft and there you have it!
