Came across a bunch of alternate paint jobs for the Colonial Viper - not sure how accurate they are
This one might just make it to the paint table once I get a spare Viper.
The rest of them are here

Run for your life - there are stupid people everywhere!
I thought there might be an all white one with a large red #5 on it. I do like a number of those in the album.
So how many books are in your personal library?
Ah, good old Clave Works Graphics.

Wow, that orange is very visually striking! I had a look in the album, and there are some very nice colour schemes in there. I think I'll probably also be inclined to do a couple of repaints later down the track.
The Mk II in the classic White with Red stripe in my favourite, but a lot of those are very attractive. I do also like the look of the Mk VII in the classic white and red too, it will be coming out as a pre-paint in a silver/grey/gunmetal colour I imagine, so a re-paint for some of those into the classic white and red is very much on the cards!
Needs General Leel on the upper canopy though! It just looks wrong on the nose.
I hope you get to paint one up, That would look cool. Particularly on the original vipers.
In ' battlestar Galactica blood and chrome ' the vipers were painted silver/grey with the red stripes, not white as the main series.

I am fairly sure that most of those paint schemes in your album were produced 'just for fun', Dave.
I really like BJ's art. He posts regularly on TrekBBS (or used to), and I've seen a lot of his stuff there. In addition to repaints like this, he has done some great drawings of cartoon versions of ships. Here is a link to BJ's Battlestar Galactica page on Deviant Art.
Oooo, love the orange one. I think a 'Tiger' version will soon be in my hangar.
As my old brain understands it, the re-imagined BSG series predates our own history by thousands of years. No General Lee or Colonel Sanders paint jobs.

So go for it!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Personally, I intend to repaint a couple in obviously non-canon schemes.
Of course, given the amount of planes (ships, tanks, men.....) in the queue, .....
