Anyone lucky enough to have a 3D printer, is it possible and have you tried to print planes?

I don't know of a home 3D printer that can print to the level that most of us would want our planes in. But there is a whole section dedicated to 3D printed planes.

I haven't tried printing a plane yet. It's better suited to an SLA printer than an FDM printer but it might be Ok. Would have to print the plane in a few parts. Upper and lower wings separate, fuse probably in upper and lower half. Landing gear would be a little rough. Cabine struts would be a bit on the thick side.

Might be a fun project to try. Anyone know of any 1:144 WWI STL models?
