Thread: Explosive undercarriage

    Default Explosive undercarriage

I dropped my Gorrini CR42 about 3 feet onto a wood floor. Top wing and both wheels came off. One wheel found about 8 feet away, the other I cannot find. I had a bag of wheels albeit spat less so I glued them on. Moral of the story is to be careful as these models of ours really come apart in a big way if dropped.

I dropped an Ares Staaken - the blue one - on a concrete floor at my Club's Christmas bash last year.

    It landed upside-down.

    I bought another Staaken.

I still have all the pieces of the first one.

    There are LOTS of them.
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!

The elves love those kinds of challenges if you want to ship it over . . .

I am sad to hear of your accidents. It is a pity that plastic models are so fragile.

Yeah!!! Hands and knees and a small brush around the skirting boards found the missing wheel.

It was 4 feet in the opposite direction from where the other one went too. All glued back in place and now just like a bought one.

Also my Battlestar Galactica parcel just arrived so feeling like a pig in pooh at the moment.
