Smile Bumpy take off but now I'm ariborne

New pilot from Middlesex. Inspired by the WW1 display at Warfare 2018 to have a go at Wings of War. Brought on a bit of nostalgia from my youth playing the old Avalon Hill boardgame Richtofen's War!

This forum certainly has a lot of information and ideas.

I've done a lot of figure gaming and a bit of modelling. But up to now it's been all at ground level. That doesn't mean I have any affinity for AA guns and machine guns!

Have managed to get the rules and a fair selection of planes so planning my first proper game later this week.

Hi Ian, and welcome to the Drome now on behalf of the U.K. Squadrons.
I have answered your PM at more length, but just want to take this opportunity to officially wish you the best of flying weather, and an invite to the Mess for a few jars and a chinwag with the other pilots when they get back from Ops.

Hi Ian, welcome to the 'Drome!

Do let us know how you get on in your first dust-up (mine was a debacle, being rammed by my wingman on the second card, then shot to pieces straight afterwards!).

Have fun, and always watch your Six!
